How to check your LoL playtime
- Pick your region and type your Riot ID: the game name, and the tag after the # if you know it.
- Press Reveal. We look the account's level up with Riot, which takes a second or two.
- Read the days and hours played, the account's rank on the leaderboard and how it compares with everyone checked here.
How the estimate works
An account's level is a function of the XP it has earned, and League grants XP for time in game, so the level works as a clock. lols.gg converts the level back into XP with Riot's own summoner XP table: levels 1 to 50 cost 101,088 XP in total, about 168 hours of play, and every 25 levels after that cost 79,296 XP, which is 4.3 to 6.1 hours per level and 5.3 on average.
That XP is divided by 600 XP per hour of game time. lols.gg measured the rate on 2026-10-16 across 124 accounts, from the match time recorded between two level-ups: the median was 615 XP an hour, and half of all accounts fell between 568 and 709.
Tools that still use the older figure of 339.55 XP an hour read every account about 1.75 times higher, so for the same level our hours are about 43 percent below theirs. XP boosts, missions and first-win bonuses nudge individual accounts, so the result is an estimate, but every account is measured the same way and the order of the leaderboard does not depend on the rate.
Frequently asked questions
Is this exact?
No. It is an estimate from the account's level. Riot's API lists match history for only a few years back, so a lifetime total cannot be summed from matches, and the level is the only lifetime record Riot exposes. Some other trackers sum match durations instead, which covers recent years only. lols.gg converts the level to XP with Riot's summoner XP table and divides by 600 XP per hour of game time, a rate measured on 124 accounts. Every account is measured the same way, so the ranking between accounts holds.
