How this ping test works
Riot's game servers don't answer web browsers, so this test measures your connection to data centers in the same city or region as each League server. The result closely tracks your real in-game ping, though the game itself can differ by a few milliseconds.
What is a good ping for League of Legends?
Under 30 ms feels instant, up to 60 ms is great, and most players stop noticing delay below about 80 ms. Above 100 ms you'll feel skillshots and trades lag behind your clicks — if that's your home server, a server closer to you may be worth it.
How do I lower my ping?
Use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi, close downloads and streams, and pick the server nearest to you. VPNs rarely help — they usually add distance rather than remove it.
