How is this calculated?
Pure LP arithmetic: every division is 100 LP and there are no promotion series anymore. Your expected LP per game is winrate × LP gained minus loss rate × LP lost; total LP needed divided by that gives the expected games. It's an average: win streaks will land you under it, loss streaks over it.
Is this an MMR calculator?
No. Riot doesn't expose matchmaking rating, and Riot's policies don't allow third-party MMR or ELO estimates. This tool only does math on the visible LP system, the official ranking.
How much LP do you gain per win?
Usually 18-30. Big gains and small losses mean the system is pushing you upward; the reverse means you're above where it places you. Check your last few ranked games and enter your real averages for the best estimate.
Do promotion series still exist?
No. Riot removed division promos in 2023 and tier promos in the 2024 season. Climbing is purely LP now, which is exactly why this calculator can be accurate.
